Hiding Place/Youth Night

On Wednesday night we had 44 children and youth for our club time.  We were a few teachers short, so to make things easier we had a party.  We had our 30 minutes of gym time and then headed over to the MAC for hot dogs, drinks, ice cream, crafts, and lots of games with prizes.  It was a little bit of a crazy night, but everyone had a blast.  Please keep praying for us as we minister to the children and youth of Covington.

New Playground

Union Baptist Church did a mission project with us.  They purchased and put in a new playground for us.  They did a great job.

Fall Festival

Had a wonderful day at the Fall Festival yesterday.  Union Baptist Church came down to join the MAC and South Side Baptist Church in reaching out to our Covington community.  We had hot dogs, chips, baked goods, ice cream, drinks, games, prizes, crafts, music, and lots of fun.  It was a cold day, but God allowed us to have it outside by keeping the rain away.  Isn't God good :-)
UBC also put in new equipment for our kids at our Holman Street Playground.  It is amazing how good it looks.  I will share more about it later.
The following are some pictures from the Fall Festival - more will follow later.

Fall Festival & New Playground

Saturday will consist of lots of fun and excitement.  The day will start early with Union Baptist Church coming to put in a new playground for our kids.  This is very exciting!
From 11am-1pm we will be having a Free Fall Festival for the community.  I know that it is going to be a great day to hold this event.  The UBC youth and other church members will be helping out with the festival.
Pray that many people will be reached and touched with God's Amazing Love.

Northern Kentucky Baptist Associational Meeting

Today was a great day of sharing with the NKBA about what the MAC does.  I was allowed to share at an information booth some of the materials that would point people in our direction.  I also had a report in the book of reports.  Last of all, I was allowed to give a verbal report to thank everyone for all that they do to help support us.  The NKBA is a great blessing to the Moore Activity Center.  Thanks again to everyone who helps us.

Kicks for Kids Great Outdoor Adventure

Kicks for Kids gave us the opportunity to take 8 of our kids to their Great Outdoor Adventure at Potter's Ranch. The kids had a great time doing archery, horseback riding, rock climbing, crafts, team building activities, zip line, boat ride, smores, fishing and more.  Check out some of the kids having fun.

KFK Great Outdoor Adventure and NKBA Annual Meeting

Kicks for Kids is having their Annual Great Outdoor Adventure at Potter's Ranch tomorrow.  We are taking 8 of our kids to this event.  It looks like God took care of it not raining for us,  but please pray with me that the temps will not be to bad.  We are outside from 10:30am-5:30pm doing all kinds of fun and exciting activities.  Monday is the Northern Kentucky Baptist Associational Meeting which we will get to share information with the churches through setting up a table.   If you are going to be at the meeting stop by and get a bookmark and see what we have going on.
Have a great weekend.

Wednesday Night Programs

Last night for Hiding Place we had 29 kids in attendance.  For youth night we had 10.  All of the kids and youth learned more about how God wants them to live.  These two programs are continuing to grow in number each week.  I thank God for my volunteers that help with these events:  Becky, Dawn, Herbert, Marie, Peggy, and Venita.  Sharing God's Love through these two ministries is a blessing.
